We all miss you, but we are consoled by memories of our time together and the positive impact
you had on every life you touched. On this site, we'll share pictures and memories and do our best to keep the best part of
you alive.
“Legacy”
I don't mind if you've got something nice to say about me. And I enjoy an
accolade like the rest. You could take my picture and hang it in a gallery of all who's who and so-n-so's that used
to be the best. At such'n'such ... it wouldn't matter much.
I won't lie, it feels good to see your name in lights.
We all need an 'Atta boy' or 'Atta girl' . But in the end I'd like to hang my hat on more besides the temporary
trappings of this world.
I want to leave a legacy! How will they remember me? Did I choose to love? Did I point to you enough to make a mark on things? I want to leave an offering. A child of mercy
and grace who blessed your name unapologetically. And leave that kind of legacy!
I don't have to look too far or too
long to make a lengthy list of all that I enjoy. It’s an accumulating trinket and a treasure pile or my family
and friends who I long to see again.
Not well traveled, not well read, not well-to-do or well bred. Just want to hear
instead, "Well Done" good and faithful one...
Virtuous Women
Proverbs 31:10-31
A capable, intelligent, and virtuous woman--who is he who can
find her? She is far more precious than jewels and her value is far above rubies or pearls. The heart of her husband trusts
in her confidently and relies on and believes in her securely, so that he has no lack of honest gain or need of dishonest
spoil. She comforts, encourages, and does him only good as long as there is life within her. She seeks out flour and
eggs and works with willing hands to develop it. She is like the merchant ships loaded with foodstuffs; she brings her
household food from a warm kitchen.
She rises while it is yet night and gets spiritual food for her
household and assigns her kids their tasks. She considers a new field before she buys or accepts it expanding prudently
and not courting neglect of her present duties by assuming other duties; with her savings of time and strength she plants
fruitful vines in her vineyard. She girds herself with strength spiritually, mentally, and physical fitness for her God-given
task and makes her arms strong and firm in her youth. She tastes and sees that her gain from work with and for God is good;
her lamp goes not out, but it burns on continually through the night of trouble, privation, or sorrow, warning away fear,
doubt, and distrust. She lays her hands to the disabled child, and her hands hold with love and compassion. She opens
her hand to the poor, yes, she reaches out her filled hands to the needy whether in body, mind, or spirit. She fears not
the snow for her family, for all her household are doubly clothed in scarlet. Her husband is known in the city's gates,
when he sits among the elders of the land, and all but one of his children, and the loving wife he has missed for so many
years. Strength and dignity are her clothing and her position is strong and secure; she rejoices over the future the latter
day or time to come, knowing that she and her family are in readiness for it! She opens her mouth in skillful and godly
Wisdom, and on her tongue is the law of kindness giving counsel and instruction. She looks well to how things go in her
household, and the bread of idleness gossip, discontent, and self-pity she will not eat. Her children rise up and call
her blessed happy, fortunate, and to be envied; and her father boasts of and praises her, saying, Many daughters have done
virtuously, nobly, and well with the strength of character that is steadfast in goodness, but you excel them all. Charm
and grace are deceptive, and beauty is vain because it is not lasting, but a woman who reverently and worshipfully fears the
Lord, she shall be praised! Give her of the fruit of her hands, and let her own works praise her in the gates of the city!
Proverbs 12:4 A
virtuous and worthy wife earnest and strong in character is a crowning joy to her husband.

Dot Brown was one of the sweetest, finest people
that I have ever known. She was always sincere, kind and giving to others. Children loved her just as she loved them - that's
why she was so beloved at Margaret K. Lewis. I remember when my cat, Ali, died and my mother was away, Dot buried her in her
yard as a kindness to my mom. She was always doing things like that. She did all kinds of crafts and many have received her
creations as gifts. Dot suffered her share of heartaches, but she always went on with life and didn't complain. Her faith
in God was so apparent and I know she is in heaven, reunited with her loved ones. Dot, I'll miss our breakfasts we shared
at Flapjacks when I was able to get to P.C. You were the best. I am grateful to have known someone as wonderful as you. My
deep condolences to Dot's loving family - I know what a loss this is. Love, Martchen Cooper |

Dot Brown, my Loving Mother, You will forever be
in my heart, I loved you so much, you gave me so much love, understanding, wisdom, oh mama I go could go on and on. I will
miss you dearly and the little tales you told of your growing up years and remember how your eyes would sparkle when you told
of things in the past about you and daddy and other members of the family. If i inherit just one of your many traits I hope
I will be blessed with your courage, faith, and strength to live out my days. One thing I know for sure is that you are walking
in heaven with a halo over you, you were an Angel here with us, and I know you are now. I'm so sad you had to leave me, but
I know you are not suffering any longer and you are with Daddy, Maude, Tommy, Jerry, Bobby & Barbara, Jack, and Carrie
. I love and miss you all so much Your daughter, Sherry |

Grandma Brown will be deeply missed. She was a lady
who put her family and friends only 2nd to God. Grandma Brown left us a perfect legacy to follow. Me and Brittany will always
treasure the time that we had with Grandma Brown. The earth was blessed to have her as long as it did. Now God needs her maybe
to take care of the children or maybe he was ready to try one of her delicious cupcakes. We love you grandma and we'll miss
you but we're not going to say good bye, just see ya later. Love Angel and Brittany |

Grandmother Brown...words cannot express what she
has meant to all of us as we were growing up. We are sad to lose her, but what a celebration in Heaven as she is reunited
with the loved ones we have lost. We have always loved to go home to Grandmother's house to visit. It will be hard to not
have her here any longer, but as Grandmother would say....You just have to hold your head high, smile, and look at all the
glorious things around you..then you will be ok. We love you Grandmother. Aimee, Jeff, Andrea, and Joseph |

What can I say? Dot Brown was a wonderful woman.
She was always affectionately known as "Ma Brown" by the Hudson siblings. Although most of us living in Georgia were not "blood"
related, she was known and loved by all of us. She was a strong, loving, honest woman, who was always a "rock" of strength
for her family. Her children loved her with an affection that is beyond words or comprehension. That kind of rare love is
indeed a legacy. Now, she is in Heaven sharing her time, with her loved ones who have gone on before her. Her presence in
this world will long be remembered. We will all miss Ma Brown. God Bless. |
